Helping you take ownership of your Financial Life

Achieve clarity in your finances, confidence in your decisions, abundance in your resources, and empowerment to take full ownership of your financial life.

Together, we'll:

  • Explore your relationship with money and uncover limiting beliefs

  • Assess your current financial reality with clarity and compassion

  • Identify what truly matters and establish aligned priorities

  • Create a realistic plan to achieve your vision

  • Optimize your financial resources

Many of us have a complicated relationship with money.

We glorify it or avoid it. We believe more of it will solve everything, yet never feel we have enough. Or we see it as something shameful, preferring not to think about it at all. Add in financial jargon we were never taught, and it's easy to feel uneducated or overwhelmed.

But where do these beliefs come from? Are they truly yours, or inherited stories that no longer serve you?

What if money were simply a tool - a way to exchange what you offer for what you need? And what does having "enough" actually mean for you?
We will define success on  your own terms: what is “enough” for you - today and in the future.

Beyond money, what truly matters to you? Where do you see yourself in 5, 10, 20 years? What will matter most then? How do you get there? And what role does money play in that vision?

“You’re not alone! Over two thirds of Americans worry about money and more than 50% wake up at night, stressing about money. There is NOTHING to be ashamed of! Financial literacy is not taught at school. I am here to guide you so you can feel in charge and empowered.”

When you engage in financial therapy with me, I help you take ownership of your financial life.

Together, we'll explore the origins of your money beliefs and identify patterns that may be holding you back. This awareness creates space to choose what serves you now and release what doesn't.

From this foundation of clarity and alignment, we'll examine your goals - from legacy aspirations to day-to-day realities - with candor and compassion. Then we'll analyze your current financial picture, understand where you stand, and create a path forward. Whether adjusting spending habits, building savings, or optimizing investments, I'll guide you every step of the way.

For couples, we will identify differences in your beliefs, their origin, and their current place in and appropriateness for your life.  Understanding each other’s money history creates a basis of understanding and compassion, a necessary foundation for navigating life together.

Working together, you'll gain clarity of your current financial situation, allowing you to take full ownership of your financial future.

Work with Me

  • Working with Iris made the often anxiety provoking task of looking at my finances not only feel less overwhelming, but actually interesting and fun.

Iris left me feeling empowered, educated, and interested in my financial portfolio in a way that I never have before. Since working with her, I have a much greater sense of agency and empowerment that will serve me for years to come. Her warmth and encouragement is something I have never encountered before in a financial advisor. I highly recommend working with Iris!

  • I worked with Iris on the heels of a huge period of transition in my life - a divorce

She was, and continues to be, an invaluable and trusted advisor in helping me re-establish a holistic financial roadmap. She's more than a financial advisor. She looks at the whole person and takes into account quality of life, the nuances of life post-divorce (with children), plus aging parents, and all the other intricacies of modern life. She does so with support and encouragement, and you leave her sessions feeling like it's all possible. I highly recommend working with Iris.

  • Iris is literally a gem - a precious discovery who will increase your wealth materially as well as spiritually.

She not only shares her financial knowledge - but also her humanity in a deep way that makes me more aware of my own barriers to achieving financial freedom and health.

  • As a self employed independent contractor with no 401k or retirement plan, I reached out to Iris for guidance.

At 44, I felt a little ashamed not to have approached this sooner. Iris assured me that it was better late than never to discuss my finances. I felt supported speaking with someone that I align with and not just a "financial planner". It was helpful to start the process off by envisioning how I feel about money and how I picture my life in retirement. Being that our life after work encompasses more than money, it was nice to visualize what is most important to me and how best to plan ahead for that future vision. Iris guided me with suggestions on what retirement vehicle would work best for me as an independent contractor and I am excited to embark on investing in myself.
